Fresh from the machine shop is this pair of 186 small block chevy heads dated A18 and A23 of 1970. (January 18th and January 23rd)
These things have had everything replaced on them except the kitchen sink! -Magnafluxed before ANY work was done -Hot tanked and shot blasted, heads look brand new -New 2.02" and 1.60" 1-piece stainless steel valves -16 new bronze guides -New GM screw-in rocker studs -New GM guideplates -3 angle performance valve job -8 new hardened exhaust seats -Guides cut for PC-style seals -16 new KLine valve seals (far superior to the more common white teflon jobs most people install) -New retainers -New split locks -New Z28 replacement springs (110 lbs on the seat, .520" max lift) -Milled just enough for a clean-up cut (.006") -Valve spring heights all set for correct spring pressure -NO PORTING! These heads are about as nice a set as you're ever going to find. No corners were cut building these heads! $1400.00 + shipping. ![]() Eric |

Upon closer isnpection, I believe the earlier head may be dated A16 instead of A18. You be the judge. Either way they're only a week apart.

Shouldn't the intake valves be 'unshrouded'?
