Pretty serious looking Duster with a 472 Ray Barton Street Hemi on Ebay-- seen a few with 440 Wedges but never a Hemi-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=260143202935 MW Classic Inc. seems to get somw awfully nice cars. He also has a section on his site called "The Pristine Collection" with a very nice L-78 Camaro that originally was done locally by a friend of mine. Beautiful car-- www.mwclassicinc.com Dandy Don |

Nicely done and clean details...sure livens up a less desirable '73 and looks almost stock!.
Love how he's gone w/ the early style air cleaner too...they look so much better than the later style ones!. My chum had a new Hemi block shipped here from Ray Barton a few years back...even w/ a few thou clean-up hone job by Barton it was quite a bit cheaper than ordering one from the local Dodge dealer!. ~ Pete ![]()

Looks like they've posted a "Buy it Now" on this car for $45,500. I'm guessing that's a pretty good deal given the condition in the photos. Suprised it hasn't gone yet?

![]() What a waste of nice work on that year car. He should have used a '70 Duster or '71 Demon, way better looking nose and tails on those years.

Gee, I guess this makes two in Ohio - what are the chances? ![]() You wouldn't by chance have a stake in MW Classics, would you Don?

Nice catch. Especially when he say he's seen a few with wedges but never a Hemi. Strange since he says he owns one. MW Classic is a broker I believe. Most likely his car and we will not hear back.

Hey Rainier-Yes it was my car---just looking to do a little promotion on the site. I know I'm not the first. And "no" I have no connection with MW Classics---I've never met the man. He is a broker--not a dealer--and his cars are all owned by individuals. He does a very professional job of posting ads on Ebay--Racing Junk--Mopar sites-Dupont Registry or wherever you ask. He is a great photographer and frequently visits professional people with high end collections who wish to part them out without dealing with riff-raff and stupid phonecalls and opinions. You know what they say about opinions!
Jim knows a lot of people and is quite reasonable in his rates; only 2% of the selling price and he absorbs all the fees. You mentioned "past dealings" of which I had no knowledge (or interest). He treated me quite fairly and I would use him in a minute. He has a very nice 69 Camaro L78 car for sale on his site that was built by a member of this Forum anfd it is absolutely incredible. So to answer your "smart ass" comments--I sold the Hemi Duster to fund a current 67 project. The Duster was my first Mopar and I'll lay odds it would run and hide from 90% of the stuffy member's cars on this forum. And yes, I will be back. Some of you "original air in the tires" crowd need to quit tearing down everyone else's car. Different strokes for different folks. Dandy Don ![]() |
