Default 69 Baldwin Motion Phase III GT Corvette

Hi, I just purchased this vette, I am going to restore it, And I am intersted in asking a few questions, This car is a documented Baldwin Motion Phase III, It is in need of a total restoration, It still has its original orange paint and black stripe, Paint is rough should I strip and repaint or try to save the rough original paint, Any other information on this car would be a great help, Thank You!!!

is it this one? i've been waiting to see where this surfaces...

If this were my car and the paint was original and the right side and rear looked this good, I'd try to save it.

Yes, Thats the car, Right side is the same, But the picture does not show how bad the paint really is.

------Since Rosen modified them and covered up the original paint anyway, I wouldnt see much harm in repainting even if the paint wasnt too bad.......Bill S

I would repaint it if you're going to do a frame off restoration. If you're just going to drive it and beat on it (which you should regardless ) then I would leave the patina alone!

Neat car...

Hey what's up? I think unrestored orig. is sweet, but so is a full resto'. I've seen your car while searching on Yahoo, this is a real piece of history. These are the best Corvettes ever. In primer or whatever. You're worried about your 'vette's paint, check out my gallery.
