Default question about BE axle code

Did only Yenko and Copo Camaro's come with the BE axle code or could you get it with a small block?
My friend use to owned a 1969 Camaro with the BE rearend in it!
Could this car have been a COPO?

Default Re: question about BE axle code

Exclusively used on COPO's. Does the car have any components that would lead you to believe it was a big block. Any build date and trim tag info?
