Default I need to post this!

A few days ago, SC69Sam sent me this picture of his two sons(l-r) Nick and Patrick (who just came back from Iraq this summer). He was just sharing family pics that I'm sure a lot of us do via PM's...but I thought that it would be great to share this picture of the two with everyone...These guys opted to serve for our country in troubled times (along with many others)...so all I can say is THANKS to Nicky, Pat and the others for their efforts!

You guys are awesome!

Sam, I hope that it's okay with you to share part of the Scardino clan...I thought it important enough to do so.

Very proud of those boys. Sam also stays in contact with me regarding the boys and we are very proud of them for sure! I cannot imagine the strain that Sam and Vera are under with their boys being over there at the same time. Sam, once again please pass on our sincere wishes and safe keepings to the boys.

With Sam's blessing I would ask everyone to do the boys a favor. Last year we sent care packages to Pat while in Iraq and it would be great if everyone here could keep in touch with both boys with not only letters but also some "goodies". I am amazed what little it takes to makes these guys days over there. Anything they get from stateside is a treat. Hopefully you don't mind me asking everyone Sam. If interested, give us a mailing address again.

Too true! When I was active for desert storm, there was nothing like letters and cookies from home. Often, we would "share" mail with the fellas we were closest with.

Even a letter from a stranger was Ok, nothing worse than mail call and nothing for you.............

Thanks for the service boys!
