Default "The Tin Soldier" 9561 L72 Copo Camaro 4 speed

The Tin Soldier is a 9561 Copo Camaro sold out of Queens City Chevrolet in Ohio. They were known for selling some of the baddest Muscle cars in the area.

This Copo has had only 4 prior owners and its complete history, from the day it was transported to the dealership until today is know and well documented.

It was originally a Garnet Red 4 speed car which was turned into a race car and painted black very early in its life.

The Copo features a Dana rear with leaf springs and a TH-400 trans with a fresh professionally built 1969 512 .030 over and what I'm told are the original 840 heads and a host of other race ready parts and internals.

The car is mini tubbed, but most of the original frame rails, trunk pans, extentions, floor pans, cowl, 1/4s doors, fenders and hood are all original to the car.

The trim tag and Vins have never been removed or messed with.

Both fender extensions have an upside down 427 factory marking.

The interior, but for the missing back seats and carpet is mostly original.

The car shows very low mileage, most of it 1/4 mile at a time.

The car was freshend up with an effort to keep any and all of the original or vintage race components, by Victor Dagostino.

$245,000.00 obo, photo courtesy of Dennis Cumby.

Anyone have a clean, straight shot of the VITAR decal design? or the decal artwork?

The Vitar artwork is exactly that. Artwork, not a decal. Most everything other than the small sponsor decals are brush painted on. This guys been doin it a long time. And he's quite a character.
