Hey Guys,
I'm looking for something to tinker with. No restriction on year, make or model. GTOs, 442s (W30), Chevelles (SS), Camaros (SS)... etc. I plan on making it into a real day-2 car. Desired criteria is as follows... 1) manual tranny 2) paper (p-o-p or buildsheet at least) 3) NO rust, or VERY little rust 4) It must need some form of completing 5) No one from Ohio who is going to scam me out of another car ![]() Lets talk! 1970 SS canada papers.Black/tan arrow straight body. buildsheet calls for 402/350 4 speed m21 331 posi cowl induction ac ps pb pw fiber optic am fm 8track stereo console gauges buckets and so on...excellent driver car has 375HP 402 3 inch exhasut .excellent street car. restore back to original or ?? 22900.00

Hey Dan, How about a 70 GTO original 400-350hp Factory 4 speed car with 355's.Buckets,Hood Tach,PS,Rally II's. California car with original Quarters and Runs like the wind. Paint is so-so. Still has a good shine. 16,500.
Hell with some of the day 2 wheels and tires Ive got we can build the car right here!!!LOL. PM me if your interested. ![]()

Just for consideration. It is a real project/basket case 1967 Buick GS 400 Convertible original California Black Plate Car. Very little/California rust. Buckets console automatic, power top and power steering. Original drive train.
I drove this car into a resto shop for a paint job a few years ago and long story/short I got back a shell on a frame. It needs everything done plus, deck lid, doors and front clip. A donor car would work well. Vin tells you what it is. Low production deserves to be restored. It is worth more apart, but I can't see parting this car out. It needs to be saved. $3,500.00 Bucket seat cores and rear seat good. Star Wars air cleaner a bit faded but not cracked. Top Frame Nice. Most stainless is usable or repairable. Bumpers are Show Chrome at $500 each. Very Nice body structure. Frame and Chassis components have no rust, were PORed Other misc parts were recovered as well. |

How about this:
I have been seriously thinking about selling my project 1970 Z28. It is a real (documented with build sheet) 1970 Z28 RS 4 speed car built (06C) in Van Nuys CA. This is a true factory 4 speed car as well as true factory RS car. The 350 engine, M-22 and 12 bolt have all been rebuilt. The engine block and M-22 are not V.I.N. matching. The core of the professionally rebuilt engine is the original forged (1182) crankshaft laid into a 1973 dated 3970010 4 bolt main 350 block. An extra (E 18 0) dated 3970010 4 bolt 350 block will be included with car. The oil pan and windage tray are all correct. All the correct deep groove pulleys are included. The engine was rebuilt with .030 over forged flat top pistons and a .475 inch lift hydraulic cam. The intake manifold is the original (2110). The heads are 1973 dated 492 (camel hump) castings with angled plugs, hard seats, 2.02/1.60 valves, moly pushrods, screw in studs with guide plates. The April 1969 dated M-22 (20 degree low helix cut gears) is a fresh rebuild with less than 1000 miles. The 12 bolt is rebuilt with zero miles. The interior of the Camaro is black deluxe with console. The complete interior except headliner is out of the car now. The complete drivetrain is also out of the car. The car is a roller... it has a temporary rear end in it now. The body has very little rust. The rust that I can see is at the base of the pillars behind the windshield on the dash panel and on the trunk floor well. The passenger fender has rust but I have a correct original fender that is included with the car. The floorboards and framerails are rust free. The original RS nose still has a nice fit. The original color is 51 51, Daytona Yellow with black stripes. The body is covered with dark gray primer now. I believe an original factory 1970 Yellow Rally Sport 4 speed Z28 with black deluxe interior is very rare. I really haven't begun yet to strip the car to the shell to have it media blasted to the metal. It was my plan to start this part of the restoration. I have an interest in another car, but I cannot make a move on it until I sell my 1970 Z28. No pics... yet. The price is $19,000 for my project. I am open to offers. Local and non local folks are welcome to come see the car. Tony |
