Default Opinions on this stamp

This is a WT master cylinder stamp. Does it appear that the pad has been ground down and then restamped?

Bill,

Compared to my WT, yours looks like a different font. Mine seems to be more of a narrow type of font. (Sorry for the crappy picture, but I don't have a very good camera!)

Here's a comparison of yours (left) and mine (right). Note how narrow my "W" is compared to yours and also note that the top of my "T" isn't as long as yours. This isn't to say yours is not correct. I have no idea if more than one font was used.

Ed

Ed, Thanks for the help. It's not mine, Just doing some pre-purchase research. I have a real WT on one of the cars here. It also has a font like yours and has a surface as cast on the pad. The one on the left looks like the pad has been ground down to me.

Yeah Bill. The pad does look a little deeper than mine.

Bill...I just checked my WT M/C. It does not look at all like the one in your picture. It looks like the one Ed posted.
