Default 1969 Camaro X-66 SS396 4spd Convertible

I have a 1969 camaro X-66 SS396 convertble that has been completely restored for sale. It is Vintage Burgandy, from the factory. This color was only available from the Norwood asssembly plant !!! It has a white top , hockey stripes, and white standard interior. It is a 350 hp car mated to a M-20 trans with original 12 Bolt rear. The car has never had any floor or trunk work. the car was owned by one family until I bought it in 2003. It was treated to base , clear over a completely rust free body. Then entire bottom is done all the suspension is color coded and looks super. Very Highly detailed underneath complete with plated parts and NOS chrome tailpipes. The power train is as follows. The engine block is the CE9XXXX that the dealer 4 miles from me installed in 1969, all the bolt on componets are correct and still dated to this car. We had the engine completely rebuilt and has the balance of a 12 month , 12,000 mile warranty left on it. The trans has the Vin stamped in it and retains its factory shifter and crossmember. I drove this car in its filthy state of barn find to the Mid Atlantic Camaro Nationals in 2003 where everyone went crazy over it ,and there are picts everywhere of it !!! The options as slim None. No power steering, no power top, we installed tach and gauges and a real Rosewood wheel (perfect). The console was original. Under the hood is Show Stopping Quality, Completely detailed right down to the Smog. No dissapointments here. It runs and drives super. I can e-mail pictures , need some help to get them posted here no matter what I do it says file to large!!!. the price is $ 77,995.00 call Jim at 302-420-4743 or e-mail me at [email protected]
Thanks SYC Jim

Not sure where you got the info about Burgandy being a Norwood only color, not true. I owned a Burgandy LA built Z/28. Current owner had it on ebay recently. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet...1QQcmdZViewItem

My mistake on the trim tag. I should have looked before opening my mouth.
I apologize for any inconvenience I caused!

The color statement is not true! Burgundy was an extra cost option color at the Van Nuys assembly plant in California. I had a '69 SS L78 Camaro convertible, factory painted Burgundy. Documented with original Dealer Sales Invoice and the Chassis Broadcast Copy sheet from the fuel tank.

True it was an off line color for that plant as was Tuxedo black Code 10, Butternut yellow Code 40, Burnished brown Code 61, and Dusk blue Code 51. It was an extra cost paint that was true of any color GM had available across their line. Perhaps the wording not a standard color offered at that plant should apply or by Special Order only , thank You for making it Politicaly correct!!!. I would venture to say there were very few built there in that color. It was a Good car that You owned and I watched it sell at Russo Steele at Monterey several years ago. Jim
