Default Tires for a '69 Z28

Want to put some new rubber on the '69 Z28.
I was told to get 255/60/15's for the back but they're on back order for 2 months.
Because waiting is never an option, I was wondering which is better for the car

(fit and performance wise)

a) 245/60/15
b) 255/70/15

Thanks in advance.

-Dan

Dan..The 255-70 is a BIG tire. I tried a set on the Nova. Too big. You may want to search the tire forum at Team Camaro.

BFG Radial T/As

I have a friend with '69 Z28 and he has 255/70/15 (rears), and 215/60/15 (front). No rubbing issues and the car looks great. I just do not think the 70 series tires will fit in the back.

The Wide Treads are going into storage.
