The 2 semi-obvious issues are that it has an incorrect baseplate and the wrong float bowls on it...obviously minor issues, but there's still 2 red flags.

the Date Code 453, does not the first number meen the year ? would that not meen 74 ?

You're on the right track, but not quite. The "original" 3310 is for a 1965 vehicle. A date of 453 would be the 3rd week of May 196<u>4</u>...a bit early for a 1965. The second red flag has to do with the main body casting itself. |
