A friend stopped by today with a steering wheel that has a SS427 emblem on it. The wheel is a 3 spoke from a 68 Impala? He would like to know what it is worth. Its in pretty good shape, from what I saw. Thanks.

If it has no cracks, or deep scratches and the horn section is in good shape it is worth between $400.00 and $700.00... A nice restored 68 wheel can be worth as much as $700.00... Most of the 68 wheels cracked over the years, so a crack free, original, unrestored wheel is fairly rare.

The emblem alone would probably sell for $150 to $200. The last SS396 emblem on Ebay sold for $135. As Bill said, uncracked 1968 wheels are hard to find.
