I was wondering about the difference in trim tags on the early build '69 Camaros. I was just looking at a rollin chassis X11 car on ebay (01A build long GM disclaimer at bottom of tag and vin matches the body). That car has the square tag whereas my 01C X44 has a more rectangular tag (less the GM long winded disclaimer). Anyone else have a 01 build car with the same scenario?

Its fine, its an original tag, and matches up with the VIN just fine. |

Mark, I know the numbers match for that X11 car. I was wondering if anyone had noticed the difference in the trim tags (square vs rectangular) on 01 build cars. Maybe I shoulda tried to be more clearer. Sorry 'bout that.

Post a pic of your tag, if you don't mind. Can't be an LA tag if it has an X44 code.

I have an early trim tag Norwood (11D) it is rectangular with no X codes. I believe early December they changed.
