I've been told of a '68 Charger with 2 gas caps (both functional, left and rt. rear fenders), never a trim tag, supposed to be 1 of 8 factory 'mules'. Anyone know anything about this? Me no speaky Mopar!

When it comes to Mopars, there's a lot of BS numbers out there. Documentation or walk!

I don't know where a build sheet would be in a Dodge. Found out today that it has a 4pt. bar in it, said to be an amazingly perfect fit. Said to be a 440, 6pack,( induction there, don't know how to tell a 440 from a slant 6, well, you know!), but vin says it's a 383 car. This thing is in perfect condition and has apparently carried this story for quite some time.

Under seats(front and back). Behind dash and under carpet are places to look. Among some others. Good luck! Patrick

With a cage and thinking about the dual tank thing, did Dodge ever run anything like this in the Panamericana road races? . What else is unique about this baby, is the suspension anything special....additional supports at torsion mounts, extra tire clearances etc? . Is the paint just a solid color or is there any clues there?
I bugged my buddy to look for the build sheet on his '69 Satellite a few weeks ago. . Within about 5 minutes we were reading it after finding it in the rear seat bottom! ~ Pete

the other tube coming out of the trunk floor and going to the opposite side of the car is a california emmisions option and it was a vent tube that looks the same as the gas filler tube on the opposite side of the trunk.
