Reading this auction again, see how this tag is from the car he sold which most likely exists....the tag he left on the car is from another probably scrapped 429 car? . Anyone here have access to run this tag number through a registry? . This whole situation should make for some real action in the closing moments of this auction? ~ Pete

"I found a set of good doors at a junk yard that happened to be from a 69 Boss 429. I used these junk yard doors on the car. I cut out around and removed the door plate tag from the original drivers door."
I am confused, his original doors as so badly rusted that he buys a set of junkyard donor doors only to then cut out that intire plate leaving a gaping hole in his new donor doors............... ![]()

The donor doors w/ it's own 429 tag went with the car. ~ Pete
