I am in the process of freeing up some cash so I'm putting up for sale a complete 1969 Camaro COPO motor and a clue to finding an unknown COPO car. The VIN on this engine did not match any VINs Ed C had on his site before he took them down. The pad is stamped TO528MN and guaranteed as an original factory stamping. The engine can be bought complete from carb (show resto) to oil pan including exhaust manifolds, starter, deep groove pullies, distributor, factory chrome valve covers and so on. The engine is a fresh top-quality rebuild with 0 miles. All parts are the correct casting numbers with correct dates where applicable. Now that Ed C is not verifying cars anymore, this engine may be the only key to finding and verifying another COPO Camaro. Will get more pics soon. The engine is also available as a long block for a reduced price. The price will include shipping...$17999/offer.

I have to make a correction to the original listing...the motor is only avaible as a long block (I thought I would have been able to get the extra parts for the motor but won't be able to)...intake to oil pan with correct dated water pump and chrome valve covers - $16999/offer
I can put you into contact with the person who would have the correct components to make it a complete motor. To those that contacted me I will contact you back to see if you are still interested. My apologies for the error, Fred

I wouldn't post the vin.. there is still an un discovered COPO that few people have the vin to. I am sure that if you had a car that you thought may be a COPO he would tell you whether or not the Vin you provide matched the one he has.

[/ QUOTE ] Wow ![]() ![]() Sort of makes it sound like information sharing is alright, until it effects "the few"? SO, let me get this right. There is an undiscovered COPO out there that VIN info will not be released until.....when? When one of the "few" track it down and purchase it without the full disclosure to the owner? Just trying to get this clear. ![]()
