Default 70 Nova L78 WIW

Spoke to a guy who knows of a 70 L78 Nova. Trying to find out what its worth. These are the things I know at this moment. I'll believe it when I see it!! Laser straight, beautiful car. Bench seat, 4-speed, #'s matching engine , tranny and rear. Driven 15 miles since restoration. Citrus Green. Probably won't get a chance to see the car for a couple of weeks. Says original owner misplaced paperwork. Says its obvious it is what it is, if the right person goes over the car. That's certainly not me. I have an interest in this car. Especially because of the color. O.K. folks, what do you think. Patrick

I don't know alot about the car as of yet. I got a call from a friend who has seen it. Says its the real deal. I doubt this car has been in any magazines. From what I understand about the owner, he's not a guy who talks much or shows his cars. Can anyone give me some advice. I'll be able to see the car in a few weeks. Its in storage. What are the experts thoughts on this car without paperwork. When I say experts, I'm referring to those who know alot more than most about these cars. I thought the color sounded really cool!! If there's no paperwork, check the block pad very carefully for the correct suffix code. Then look for the other SS & BB specific items for the Novas, shouldn't be too hard to determine if it's the proper pedigree.

Here's the best place to go for the BB info:
to Gregg Roberts for the info page!

Don't forget to look for the swaybar, or at least the hanger brackets that are welded to the underside above the rearend. If it's an SS, they should be there.

[/ QUOTE ] I was wondering where you got the info that all 1970 SS Novas came with a rear sway bar?
