Default 10.97 @127+

Wayne Nelson went 10.97 @127+ in his F.A.S.T class L88 Corvette this past weekend at Lebanon Valley Dragway.

This was a great show, although I was one of the only Factory Stockers there running in a class with F.A.S.T cars....geez...boy did I look foolish!!!

Hey, the runner-up was a Factory Stock car! After seeing what JJ did to the FAST guys this weekend, I don't feel so bad now about getting blasted by the Silver Bullet down in Commerce!

On Polyglass tires, that is flat haulin' the mail, folks! Congrats, Wayne!!

Gonzo:

Great numbers by Wayne, and good showing by JJ. He said he thinks he finally had that thing sorted out and was even loaded up and ready to go a week early (had his dates mixed up.

I was supposed to run out there with him, but car was talking to me again, health problems, weather forecast, etc.etc.

Did they run a quick 8 and 2/3 shootouts for the rest or just one bracket/ladder? Did they mix both Factory Stock and F.A.S.T. cars together again?

Great that they got the $1000 from other sources to Wayne anyway even though wasn't it an official Y1 race. Martin should be very interesting on June 17.

Gonna see the yellow Yenko there?

From what I'm reading, they did throw the FAST/FS numbers together, then did the quick-8 & 2of3...which explains why JJ was runner up! Yeah, I was under the assumption that this event was eligible for the $1k, but I guess I was mixed up...good to see they made good on it via other acenues.

And unfortunately, "no", the yellow submarine is probably parked until PS @ Stanton...June is my busiest month of the year here at the house (t-ball, summer school, vacation, dad's vacation, birthday's, etc., etc.)...just super hectic here on the homefront. But, I wish y'all luck!

Yes sir.... JJ went a 11.6 at 120mph. Not bad for a certifed stock motor. Impressive that he can run with the unlimited modified boyz!
Quick 8 and the rest were best 2 outta 3.
