Default '67 lost in New Hampshire

I’M LOOKING FOR MY OLD ‘67 YENCO RS / SS CAMARO . YEH, I KNOW , (GOOD LUCK) ! I GAVE UP YEARS AGO , BUT JUST NOTICED THE ‘67 VIN # LIST THAT LISTED SEVERAL GOING TO “ CENTRAL CHEVROLET “ IN SPRINGFIELD , MASS. WHICH IS WHERE MINE ORIGINATED FROM. IN LATE ‘67 OR EARLY ‘68 I PURCHASED THIS CAR AS A RECOVERED THEFT FROM A FRIEND WHO BOUGHT INS. SALVAGE. THE CAR HAD BEEN STOLEN FROM THE CENTRAL CHEV. DEALERSHIP LOT AND THE MOTOR & TRANS HAD BEEN “NEATLY” REMOVED ( NO CUTTING OR HACKING) , BUT EVERYTHING UNBOLTED ! WHEN I RECEIVED THE CAR IT HAD ABOUT 10 MILES ON THE ODOMETER AND THE “ YENCO “ WINDOW STICKER STILL IN THE WINDOW , ( $4995 ). THIS CAR HAD THE SS BIG BLOCK HOOD ON IT AND THE ONLY DISTINGUISHING YENCO FEATURES WERE DECALS IN THE WINDOWS AND THE INDIVIDUAL #’S “ 4 - 2 - 7 “ ON EACH FENDER UNDER THE “CAMARO” SCRIPT . I STILL HAVE A FEW PICTURES OF THE CAR IN VARIOUS STAGES FROM THE 1 st DAY I GOT THE CAR AND SEVERAL PICS OF IT TAKEN AT NEW ENGLAND DRAGWAY ( 1968 - 1972 ). THE CAR WAS BUTTERNUT YELLOW AND KNOWN TO LOCAL RACERS AS “ RAPID TRANSIT “ ( BIG GREEN LETTERS ON THE ¼’S , BIG BOWTIE CHEVY ON THE DOORS, & “ DONS AUTO RACING” ON THE FENDERS. I HAVE VERY LITTLE ELSE TO GO BY EXCEPT A FEW OTHER TIDBITS , SUCH AS TAG # SINCE I EVEN HAD IT REGISTERED ONCE AND OCCASIONALLY DROVE IT ON THE STREET ! IT WAS REGISTERED IN N. H. IF ANYONE REMEMBERS THIS CAR OR HAS ANY IDEAS ON HOW I CAN FURTHER THIS PURSUIT PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I BELIEVE THE CAR WAS UNLETTERED AND PUT INTO STREET FORM IN THE MID 70’S AND MAY STILL BE AROUND AS A PLAIN OLE EVERYDAY SS/RS CAR.

Your running a poll but both answers are the same --->?
Also do you have any paperwork with the VIN listed, which will help you find the car? Also post some pics and please dump the all CAPS posting, its hard to read and most wont finish reading it when its posted like that.

Sometime between 67 and '05 they changed the name to "Yenko".

I thought about commenting on the spelling, but knew you would take care of it for me!
