Have a NON Camaro POP with a engine code of DS. Mad Mikes page shows it as:
1968 DS 307 tur hydramatic - - full size Chevy by the Numbers shows 307 also but also shows it as a Turbo 400 Tranny. Is this a misprint being that they both show the CI as a 307 engine??? ![]()

HawaiianCamaro;
I will give it a shot. DS is a 1968 Chevrolet (Full Size) 307 200hp Engine. It is shown in the Turbo Hydramatic column. The problem is that it does not specify TH 350 or TH 400. It could be either. Since it is a 307 I would guess that it is just a TH 350. However, the Tranny code looks like a TH 400 code. 68 D 313 or 68 = 1968 (C)D = 327, 350, 400, 402 (the C is sometimes left off) 313 = Friday November 8, 1968 CM would be a TH400 with 307. I do not have CBTN here this is just from my notes. Anyone else? I do not have a listing for CI. Greg
