I was told that these center caps might be for a 1970 Z/28 Camaro. I'm sure someone here will know for sure.

Those are not correct for the 1970 Z28. The 1970 Z28 caps look like these...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...;category=34209 The original (not replacement) caps have a raised bowtie verses the repo which is a flat bowtie. Hope this helps.

I believe those are Vega GT center caps, but I am not positive.

The part number on the "chrome" part seems to be covered by the "fingers" that would hold it onto the wheel. Not the best description. I'll take a better look at them this weekend. Thanks to everyone for your interest and responses.

They are Vega GT center caps.....I had one back in the day.....
