I was at a car show in ohio OCT 1-3 and i located a 1969 Garnet Red Z-28 with a body # 3 car before my car but
it was built 04c ( April 3rd week ).My car 05d may 4th week. why the long time frame between these cars??? ![]() ![]() |

Are they both Norwood cars?

looks like his car was the last built before the 69 strike, and yours was the first built after the strike.

Often the COPO body numbers lag the "run of the mill" camaros and don't line up.

I believe I read here somewhere, that a car was assigned a bodynumber when the order was accepted by Chevrolet. So it would have little to do with when it was built.
Am I wrong ? Experts come forward ! Anders
