Default NOS 1969 Camaro Radio Delete Plate

I saw this on E-bay and thought someone may be looking for this item. You don't see them for sale very often.

I remember hearing a couple years back the guy at Camaro Heaven ? in Canada saying he had about 100 NOS delete plates. At the time I was wondering if someone repopped them. I never heard about them again.

They have been repopped... not saying the one on ebay is a repro, but the repro ones i have seen are pretty bad... they have the numbers on the back, but are really crudely made, and the edges where the chrome is is very lousy... i have also seen repro ones where the mounting bosses were glued to the plate rather than molded from one piece like an original. I believe a true NOS original one would have came in a gm sheath wrapper, with the teal GM logos, and factory part number on the packaging... similar to the style of packaging that stainless moldings or sill plates come in.
