Former owner of an original 1969 Chevy Bel-air 2-door 427
L-72 4-speed, looking for another. Can be a #1,#2 or #3 car. Must have original drive train available. Does not need to be letter perfect but mostly original. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! |

Give my buddy Jim a call. He's got one of the cleanest unmolested 69 L-72 'Scaynes around, and to add the frosting on the frosting it's an M-22 car in LeMans Blue. He says he'll wheel and deal a little on the price if anyone's serious. Here are some pics. Biscayne Pics

Rob,
-------Yes, 66 big-bodies would have used Corvette style exhaust manifolds on any big-block application. After the 1st of the year of 66 I believe at least the 427/425s would have come with smog. Im unsure on the 390 horse cars though. Maybe Charlie or some of the California guys can educate us on that...........Bill S -------I just remembered that 65 big-block manifolds are slightle different than 66s. They have a heat tube for the choke. In 66 the choke went to a coil! Hope this helps? |

Do the '65-6 cars weigh in the same neighborhood as the '68-9's? For some reason they don't look as "big"?
