If anybody wants to know about the car please let me know. Its got tons of potential and will make a neat car when completed. I only want to sell it because the body shop that is working on it has not done much to it since October and I am getting the bug to drive a Camaro during the summer.

Welcome aboard Mark.... I seen this car so I listed it here for everyone to see.. I wish my Z had 4:56 gears but it was born with the 3:73... Neat car: too bad you cant wait for her to be completed... Mark

I am just asking for my own curiosity. Why are there dashes instead of a paint code on the cowl tag? Thanks. Good luck.

Car is back on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2481936803
So is the axle and the engine, in separate auctions.
Don't mean to stir the pot, but I'd be remiss if didn't say: I don't like the look of that trim tag..... and no exhaust doubler plate.

The shifter hole does not appear to be cut with a torch like Z28's were.

Here is a picture of the trim tag, can you tell me what you see that is wrong? The car has the plates for the dual exhaust on the frame rails. I will get better pictures for you and Charley later this week. I had given up on selling the car and it was still in storage at the body shop but e-bay had a sale on their ads last week. At a $1.50 per ad it was too good of a deal to pass up. I took a deposit from somebody on the 12:1 compression motor and the crossram set up about 45 days ago then I never heard from the guy again. I thought if I lower the price on the car, it would be a good deal for somebody. Charley do you have plans on coming to southern California in the near future? Come take a look at the car to let everyone know if its real or not.

The fonts on the tag are not correct and there are some spacing problems.
I noticed the shifter hole, but I couldn't be sure from that pic and the console nuts look right.
This pic from the auction shows no doubler plate.

Here's the tag pic.
