My friend is a Ford dealer and he is getting one of these, I guess only a very limited amount of dealers are getting this car initially. Anyway he sais he is selling the car to another dealer in Reno who has a customer who is going to pay 125K OVER sticker. Cool car, but 275-300K!!!

That is one awesome vehicle. I'm surprised that Ford didn't wring a little more power out of it though. Dan

Dang, that is one good looking car. The original Shelby 427 competition Cobra, the Ford GT-40 and the Corvette GrandSport had to be 3 of the baddest muscle machines ever built.

I agree, the GT looks awesome. Don't know much about it, I think Charley knows and maybe he can share some info. Some dealers (based on volume) get these and some don't. But 125k over sticker scares me and I'm only scared of Charley's dogs!!!

I saw the red prototype both up close and at speed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last summer. Powerful enough and still good lookin'

They are planning on shipping 101 cars to Europe. All will be left hand drive US spec cars with minor factory mods for Euro safety etc. The cars are being allocated by Ford Europe's racing/performance division based on an application process that ends up with senior management of Ford Europe picking who the "winners" are.

I should find out sometime next month...

I always had a soft spot for the GT40. Great styling
The TV spot will sell a few cars!
