Default Here's One to Watch For...

I guess everyone that has been speaking out on the dangers of dishonest individuals knowingly misrepresenting clones, rebodies, and tag swaps was right on. Check out the description on this second running of this auction.

Future buyers beware!

I was so caught up in the description I totally overlooked the interior. That's some neat looking original "mutstooth" upholstery!!!

Maybe someone could take note of the Vin numbers and start a list of know vin's that were sold, auctioned or traded and if the car ever came up for sale at least the buyer would know the history and buy it or not

I believe from the trim tag it has the rare "Scottish Highlands" interior option, coded as "MacZ11". I must have this car just to match my kilt. -NJSteve

This is exactly what I was talking about. The bid is over 7 grand for this rust bucket, I promise you some one has a tag swap in mind. Seeing how there is not one piece left of value; save maybe the rear end and motor (described but not shown), some one is buying the paper trail on this car.

Now how would one of you like this to be represented as an original restored car in the future? Either have them parading around to car shows, taking the spotlight or parking next to your "real" car. Or..... how about they buy this title and tags for $10 grand, take a very nice normal Camaro bought for $10 complete.. then combine the two and price it at what.... $50,000? What's a real pace car go for anyway, I'm not up on the pricing of them.

Whether the one that combines the two cars, or 4 to 5 buyers down the road. I promise you the truth will be long swept under the rug, and one of you may be next in line to buy it.

That's why you should go over any car THOROUGHLY before buying and perhaps trace the ownership trail and talk to them too. If the seller starts getting cranky then you cough twice and pass.

You know what really should piss us off? "trimtags.com"

Why pony up 10K for a rust bucket just for the tag when you can have one made? I know, what you're paying 10K for is the VIN, but still...

BUYER BEWARE!
