I need a set of side trim for a 1965 Chevelle Malibu hardtop. Have almost all the other pieces but nothing but holes down the side of the car. This is a car my 14 year old grandson is building with his dad to have ready when he turns 16. Should be a fun project.
Any help, leads or the trim pieces particularly will be greatly appreciated. Dave McClelland |

I hafta ask, since you haven't filled out your profile -
Are you Dave McClelland, the drag racing announcer? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ ![]() Or Dave McClelland, the former Vancouver Canucks goalie? ![]() Either way, to your son and grandson for building a '65. I loved mine, wish I still had it sometimes.. -Sam (apologies to Denis for "borrowing" his Jean Beliveau artwork...)

Hi all, Sam thanks for the reply...wish you had added that you had the trim pieces<VBG> . I am the guy that has been announcing racing events for over 45 years...and while I have cut back a bit, still quite active with Hot Rod TV and other things.
Never did like the skating bit, too many times on my butt . Thanks again and hope somebody has the trim pieces. Merry Christmas and a most happy, safe and prosperous New Year to all. MaC |

Where are you? There is a guy close to me in South Carolina that deals in nothing but Chevelle parts. I'll check with him.

Dave,
-----Call John Smulligan at Northeast Chevelle in Pennsylvania. He should be able to help you out. His prices are usually pretty good. 570-455-3095. -----John used to throw some sponsorship my way back in match-race days with "Red Alert" and he is one of the certifiable good guys!!!!!......Bill S |
