Default Help! Nova vent windows

I am needing to replace the ruuber that goes around the vent windows on my '69 Nrova. I bought a repro. set, but was not impressed. What has/does everyone else do?

Tom, you're right about the repop rubbers. Not the best piece. If your old one is'nt cracked or torn, give it a good scrubbing with laquer thinner, and take a razor blade and scrape it.It makes them soft, and pliable again. Some times they come out looking like new. Schonye

Thanks. A couple of minor cracks, but at this point, I think those are better then the repro I have.

Tom,
I have a stack of vent window assemblies.... some factory tinted and some clear. I'm sure I have some with decent rubber in there.

If you have an interest in them or any other Nova stuff, email me directly at: [email protected]

Thank you.

Tom,
I was able to find an NOS set from Philips Muscle Car Parts in Oklahoma City, OK on EBAY. Not cheap, but fit perfect. If I run across a set, I'll be in touch!

Marlin, thanks. It looks like Allen may have be able to help. Now, if only I could find a nice vinyl floor mat.
