The rear in my '67 SS (build date 12D) has the following codes stamped in:
QL 12 21 G The date code is good and I am convinced the rear is original to the car, but what about the QL code? I have not been able to find this code in any reference book? QL code for 67's is on the last page of the Rear End codes in Chevy By The Numbers. Its more or less a contuation page for the codes. (page 314_
