Default 69 yenko chevelle firewall

On the firewall of my yenko chevelle there is a yellow chaulk mark of 98,does anyone know what this means?

Chad, Do you have the build sheet? Some build sheets have hand writen numbers or letters on them and the same markings appear on firewall. Also may be last digits of sequence number. What is build date?

If you have the buildsheet on it,look at the top left,in box #10.
The first number is the Schedule number.Does it say #98?

I have not found a buildsheet in the car as of yes and probably wont,so that is probably what that is.Thanks

Our car has a 233 crayoned in on the top driver's side corn of the firewall. No build sheet to verify it.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.

That is the rotation or sequence number that the Chevy assembly side (as opposed to Fisher Body) used.
