Default Power Tour 2003

Just got back. Had a blast. Met lots of Folks and gave the Mule a good Thrashin. This year was even bigger than expected. A Total of 990 Cars went the whole way from Nashville to Dallas. There was even a orig. Owner Red 69 Yenko Chevelle on The Tour. If you can find the time this event is really alot of fun. Dennis Barker at Berger loaned the Hot Rod Crew a few cars to drive on Tour and I think sold a couple of them. There were probably 12 Berger cars on Tour including 3 600 hp ZL1's. The Berger cars were magnets. They have the best sounding exhaust that everybody would just stop and look as they went buy. Jim Parks'ZL1 was Photographed and is supposed to be a Future Cover Car. Berger lost one of the loaner cars outside of New Orleans when a Garbage truck spit a driveshaft that went under the Berger car. Pushed the floors up pretty good and the trans. Lots of rain. Bourbon Street in New Orleans is something to see.

Charley, Sounds like you had a great time. The Power Tour is on my list of "things to do." Just trying to get a few projects finished first. Good to see a few of our members getting some ink, even if it was with there late model iron. That would be the way to do the tour, 600HP, air, power, etc. Sounds like Kevin Hands kind of gig. Hey, the mule and Kevin's ZL-1 on a long strectch of deserted hiway.

Thanks for the compliment, I will take them any way I can get them. Of course Charley picked up the tab for the haircut.
