Default Goodmark vs. GM body panels. How do they compare?

Can anyone give me an idea how the Goodmark Repo body panels compare to the GM panels. It has been several years since I was in the market for panels and am wondering how they compare.

Hi Darren, Not crazy about repro body panels. Seem to be a little thinner sheetmetal. Also, you have to sometimes watch NOS panels. They can be late issued when the dyes were getting dull. I prefer very good used Front fenders, doors trunk lid etc. It is a little cheaper and seems to fit better. Southern Calif. and down. Arizona and parts of New Mexico. Just my opinion. I'm chiming to say that Sam is right..Some NOS is "dull" and unless your car is just a regular car Goodmark is substandard..Funny that no one ever mentions that original sheet metal has plant codes and week of the year stamps on them..This will be the next level of originality in the years to come, so if you don't save what you've got or match it with used from the same general date zone then regret will follow..could be 20 years from now, but it's coming...

Hard to see the date codes on those quarters!

I have seen the goodmark '69 RS fenders, they really don't fit well around the hood, header, and valance. The grill inserts don't align with the curvature of the leading edge..

Well my car is a pretty decent Z-28 and I don't want to waste money on sheet metal and paint on something that doesn't fit well. Can't wait for the stock market to rebound. I am having a hard time figuring out how to pay for some of the things I need.

Thanks for the advice guys.
