NOS Jones Mechanical Cable drive tach
9500 rpm Jones-Motrola chrome cable drive tach circa 1967-75ish, see attachment. Baldwin Motion ran these as well as many early Pro Stock and S/S drag cars. I'm 99% sure it is NOS because there are no rub marks in the chrome where the tach is mounted by a bracket(which I have seen on all the used ones), the threads where the cable screws on have never been threaded etc. Face is 100% fade, haze & yellow free. No junk behind the glass. Chrome is very good but not perfect(there is one place on the drivers side that the potmetal was not polished well enough when new and very very slight blemishing. I have seen this on many of the Jones tachs. Not from being used but these tachs were not known for the show chrome when they were new. There is one small ping on the bezel in the 7:00 position. About 1/16 wide and 1/32 deep? For comapison sakes about like the tip of a pencil. Will take $150 + shipping.
