Default Mission Impossible-2 Camaro

Has anybody else seen the Metallica video for the song "I disappear" for the motion picture soundtrack of the movie Mission Impossible 2? If you rent the Tom Cruise Mission Impossible 2 DVD you can see the Metallica video and it looks like their lead singer James Hetfield is driving the snot out of a 69 Camaro. Has anybody else seen the video? Anybody know more about this car? Looks like it is black in color with a cowl induction hood and aftermarket chrome rims. If you're into classic airplanes you might also want to check out the video.

Judging by some of the scenes, it may have been shot in California (Possibly San Francisco)?

Jeff,
I just got done watching the video again. It looks or they make it look like he's shifting a 4 speed but I see an automatic brake pedal?? Anybody else get that impression after watching the video or am I missing something? Can anybody determine if it is SS/RS or what model it is?

Here's a pic of James on his 39th birthday. Kirk and Lars rented the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma as a present for him. He brought out his 69 Camaro and 55 Belair. Kirk has a 57 Corvette and his wife has a 65 black GTO convertible. I don't know any details on the Camaro.

Ron
Here's the link to the pic. web page I have fond memories of my high school years partying and chasing girls with my best friend in his Nova. So when I happened upon a sweet little 69 at Super Chevy in Montgomery, Al. I couldn't pass it up. One thing leads to another and now I'm totally redoing the drivetrain starting with the rear. I have plans by the end of summer to have a BIG inch big block on NOS and hopefully one of the baddest street legal Novas on the northern Gulf. Did I hear grudge race. Anyway I know this is not the kind of car this site is about but, first things first. I had never seen a COPO or Yenko( in person) until last year, now I'm hooked but can't afford them. Anyway, don't remember where I found the headbanger, I have found several on the net and just right click and save them.
