I have been offered a 68 396 SS by a friend of mine. The problem is I've always liked the 67. Where can I find photos and data about both the 67 and 68 to compair the 2. How much do they vary in exterior appearance and in which ways??

Diffrence between a 67, and a 68.
The 67 doesnt have side marker lights, and it has a vent window on the doors. Checking out the the diffrences, seek on Camaros on some kind of page thats got cars for sale. Theres always pictures for you to see the diffrences you immediatly will get aware of. LIKE www.ebay.com |

There were actually a lot of small details that are exclusive to the 67 and some of these parts are difficult to find. When I see a 67 my eye goes to the vent window or to the round parking lights on the grill unless its an RS.

More details to look for:
1967 cars have a solid taillight with no vertical divide, '68 has a divide. 1967 doors and rear quarters (interior side) have painted metal for about the top two or three inches, 1968 door and quarter interior trim panels reach to the top of the door. 1967 bucket seat backs are painted metal, 1968 are plastic. 1967 VIN is located on the frame near the driver's door hinges. '68 is visible through the windshield on the driver's side dash. -Sam
