Default G.M. of Canada, What are the chances?

How would someone go about to find out if there car could be an original Canadian car? My car came from far north with no documentation. How could I contact G.M. of Canada or does anyone have any suggestions? I know this is a shot in the dark but you never know.
Thanks guys.

Call George Zepora at 1-888-467-6853 or 905-644-4060.Give him the cars VIN# and your credit card number. If the VIN# shows up in his files,he calls you back with details about it and mails you a full packet of info on the car.He also bills your credit card $40.00 US.
If the VIN# does not show up,you are not billed a cent and he does not call you back.
These are only for cars Built in Canada,or shipped to Canada to be sold brand new.

Mr 70 is correct. I have the vin's for about 50 Canadian cars, so if you want to post your vin or e-mail it to me, I could let you know if it one of my #'s.

Pete, isn't there something else you can look for like some sort of sticker on the passenger inner fender? Did all the cars sent to or built in Canada receive this sticker?

Yes, all Canadian cars got the "Oil Recomendation" sticker on the passenger inner fender. It of course could have been removed from this particualar car. Supposidly all solid lifter cars got this sticker in 69 and 70, but I have one on my small block 72 Monte as well. So sometime they must have started putting them on most of the cars.

Did all Canadian cars get shipped from NORWOOD? OR did they take cars from both plants??
