Default Where were the Stingers?

One of the most enjoyable things at the 2nd reunion was watching the Yenko Stingers tear up the autocross. Why didn't any show up this year? Will we see them next year?

I doubt it.I heard their second baseman was in Jail down in Texas after that brawl he started at the second Reunion.
That team had a temper and went on a losing streak and went down hill after that. Most of them play in the Canadian league today......Oh wait a minute, you mean the Corvair cars.Sorry for the mix up.

Darryl, I was wondering the same thing. No Corvair's or Vega's and what about the lack of Deuces, only three were there? I was real surprised that there was not a Motion Camaro there either........RatPack............

The Stingers were racing at Blackhawk raceway, a road course. Several of them wanted to attend the reunion, but racing is their first love. As per Vegas, we are working on that, but it is tough, since there are so few of them known to exist. The lack of Deuces was due to a Communist plot, well, actually a plot by a Duece owner who got his feelings hurt a couple of years ago and has boycotted the event since, even going as far as to encourage others to do so. But, that is changing, evident by the number of Deuces this year. In the future, I think we will see the number of cars increase, including Stingers and Deuces. Tom

TOM, I TAKE SERIOUS OFFENSE TO YOUR ACCUSATIONS, AND ASK THAT YOU SUPPORT THEM, CLEARLY, AND ACCURATELY. IT IS ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS THAT I COULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ABSENT DEUCE OWNERS. IN FACT, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHY I WAS NOT AT THIS YEARS REUNION. I HAVE NOT TALKED TO YOU IN TWO YEARS. I EAGERLY AWAIT YOUR POST.
