Check out page 92 in the August issue of Chevrolet High Performance magazine. There's an article on Randy Miller's Yenko Camaro race car. I recall seeing this car at the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race about three years ago. It wasn't quite "pure stock" then, but it's even less so now, having been set up to run in the NMCA events. The car recently ran a 9.97. I'm not sure that I'd do this with an authentic car.

I haven't gotten that mag yet...is it his HO car? He was running high 12s at the PSMCDR, but then was high 11s/low 12s at the NMCA events (of course it was pretty much a 12 sec. bracket class).
Gotta agree with you, B. I think racing is all that car knows! Now, who did he sell his other cars to...? |

Randy bought my car out of Missouri in 1988.I got it from the man he sold it to in 1992.I didn't really know of the name Randy Miller untill I started seeing him at the PMCR Drags.I guess he knows his stuff.

Boy, Mr70, that car looks familiar! Looks like the LS-6 I just sold, except i had the black interior w/M-22.
Anyway, Miller took his silver LS-6 Chevelle in '99 to the PSMCDR...really nice. I think he is the original owner? Or really early second owner? I checked out the car, and he said the heads/intake have never been off. He ran mid 13s all weekend. Randy wasn't there last year, but I'm hoping he is there this year, as he is a very interesting fellow! |
