Default Canadian 9010/9737 = M20 or M21

CopoPete;
What do you think the two Canadian COPO Novas came with for a trans, an M20 or an M21??

I know that the GM of Canada sheet for your car shows an M20, as does Don Yenko's order form for our cars. However, all cars found to date have an M21, therefore we believe that the trans type was changed within one of the COPO's. We are not sure which one.

What do you think??

Marlin; Every prevoius owner I talked to on my COPO says the car came with M20. The original salesman who ordered them claims he ordered them with M20 because he wanted the better first gear. My car shows the 9010 BE. Was there ever different letters shown after the 9010 on any 4 speed Yenko's? There has to be something different on my GM microfilm that the Yenko's did not have.

Pete;
I know that there were different extensions to the COPO 9010, but I only know of yours and the one for 4speeds with power steering. I am in Richmond, VA for business and don't have my copy of Yenko's form with the 9010 extension.

Yenko's order form does request the M20, but it also requests the L65 engine. I believe that both were changed under COPO 9010/9737. Do you have the POP for your car?

Yes I have the Protect-o-plate for my car. I believe I already sent you a copy of it but it shows POE13 for trans, which means Muncie,1970, May 13th if I'm not mistaken. Also show the number 133 to the far left(looking at it in the backwards form as you read it.).Not sure what that number stands for. I always thought Yenko ordered his all M21 while both Canadian cars were ordered M20.

Pete;
There should be a letter after that stamping on the POP, an A, B, or C. The Yenko cars have a B for the M21. Can you check??
