I’m trying to purchase a rag joint that will fit my 68 corvette.
The fellow selling it bought it for his Camaro. Anyone know if the rag joint for a 68 Camaro is the same for the 68 corvette? They both share the same part number. GM 7806391 Could there be nuances between parts with the same GM part number? I don’t want to buy it and find out it won’t work on my corvette . Thank you |

There are no nuances between parts with the same part number.
They could be made from multiple suppliers but if they share the same part number they are intended to be the same for fit, form and function. Changes to the part design would result in an entirely new part number (for a production part), or a bumped up suffix level for a prototype part (ie 7806391A goes to B, etc). K
