| '68 Impala, 327-275hp, Factory 4-Speed

Cool car with original buckets/console and factory stick. Looks like a pretty good car with tons of original docs, although ambitiously priced. nice, but I definitely prefer the fastback body style. I wonder how many of the fastbacks were sold vs this formal roof style?

Definitely agree that the fastback roof is the winner.

x3. Fender Skirts seem to be something that was especially popular in the Southeastern USA back in the day. Manual steering & brakes with a 4 speed trans makes me think this was an 'old school' person that special ordered this car.

----Wow,,, Fender skirts and all, and look at that roofline! What a very strangely ordered Impala. I would have never guessed that someone could have actually ordered this Impala in this configuration. AND, then never driven it much at all....WOW!!!....Bill S

----The crazy thing about this 68 is that someone could have ordered a 427/425 4-speed combo in this body style. Talk about a sleeper!!!.....Bill S

That and the hideaway headlights, Bill (or was that a Caprice-only option?).

RPO T-83 was the option code, Available on Caprice and SS427, not sure if they were available on the Impala, Donnie Bock or Leigh Scott would probably know the answer.
