Looking for a set of rear. Like to have a set of 15x8 dont know the offset that would fit under a stock 69 camaro .

I don't think they ever made an 8" Auto Drag wheel- just 7" & 8.5".
You could also get both of those sizes with 3.5" or 5" Backspacing. Very hard to find either size with the 5" BS- which is what I think you need to fit under the rear fenders without sticking out. I have collected pretty much every 15" Auto Drag size they made, and have tires mounted on all of them. From 3.5" front runners to 10" wide- and with all the different backspacing sizes offered. If nobody else chimes in definitively with fitment, I also have a 69 Z28 in the stable- and could maybe throw a wheel on and see how it fits and take a pic for you. I've never had any other rims on that car other than the stock 15X7 Rallys. I can tell you that 15X8.5" with 295/50s on the rear and 15X7" with 245/60s on the front fits a 2nd gen Z28 perfectly- both F & R with 5" of backspace. Probably apples & oranges for comparison though. |
