You really wouldn't have liked either of the ZL1 rally-sports.
This is from the invoice for #68. No paperwork for #55 exists but was probably a bit higher; approximately $7995. Could have bought 2 nicely equipped Z/28s for that money.

That's an advertisement for the #69 ZL-1 that was discussed on here a few months ago. It had Z28 style Candy stripes added by the dealer also before it was sold.
