			Transmission linkage shield on a 70 gto . That's the last place i saw one of those . Mounts to the bellhousing of an automatic transmission . Sound right ?

			I found this part in an original L78 '69 Camaro that was being transformed into a drag car. I bought the car in '88 and the car had been sitting in a garage since '72 in Jamaica Queens, New York. Originally I thought it might be a starter shield but quickly found out it wasn't. chevelleshack, thanks for hopefully pointing me in the right direction. I will do some more research on the info you provided. - Warren |

			No , this was on a floor shift car . Would not matter though , still has the back drive linkage for key / shifter lock .
