I have this real deal Holley List 4295 carburetor listed on Ebay starting at $9.99 with NO RESERVE. It is dated 953 which is the 3rd week of May, 1969. This is a real deal original crossram carb.

Man do I dislike eBay. Like what's with the fools and all their $5 bid increments?

Can the holes in the choke housing be welded up and plated so u can't tell they were ever there?

Thanks NorCam. I'll have to look at the bids to see what you are referring to but it is likely someone who put in a high bid and another bidder trying to outbid them. The Ebay proxybid system will automatically have the high bidder outbid the other bidder by the minimum bid increment.

dvss1,

I believe the holes could be welded in and be undetectable. That would be a better question for Eric Jackson. I think he has a guy that does that type of welding. The holes really don't bother me since the choke mounting holes have never been tapped.
