These where in an estate of a GM worker..wrapped in a brown paper bag..i dont know the decade//but they have the backwards K and are very nice..clean graphics etc...they are new and they look new...tin litho stuff just doesnt survive well..see pics..they are very nice..macro setting on my camera picks up dust on them from the bag..but they are very nice 7 sold....4 left.. I have 11..it would be great that if everyone that wanted one could get one..instead of one guy buying them all.. $13.50 each shipped...it has to go in a small box.i will combine ship//if other stuff is bought ![]() ![]() ![]()

They used a gizmo like that in the movie...The Longest Day. Soldiers who were deployed behind the lines prior to D-Day used them as a signal to recognize each other.

Yes...it did mimic the rifle action, but that was not the idea, it was meant to be a signal [they were called Crickets]
There was a scene in the movie where a GI gives one click...the German soldier then worked the action on his Mauser which sounded like the 2-click response....a fatal mistake. wilma
