What can anyone tell me about Bauman Chevrolet in Wilkinsburg PA?
Well, was excited to get my delivery info in the mail today. My worst fear came true, looks like the dealership is out of business. I would guess there is no way to get any old information from the dealership. Interesting though. Shipped to Bauman Chevrolet in Wilkinsburg, PA., Dealer code 75/zone 13. I bought the car in Wisconsin in 1989. Was it a dealership transfer? Bought there and moved? Just another piece of the puzzle I'm trying to put together. Here is the thread I started on my car, any help appreciated! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...opics/517563/1 |

That's interesting. There was a Bauman Chevrolet in Pittsburgh in 68 on Penn Avenue.

Warren</div></div> That's the address I have found. 428 S. Penn Ave Wilkinsburg PA. Looks like Wilkinsburg is a suburb of Pitt. I'm also in the process of doing a title search in PA to see if it really did start it's life there. |

I believe have a vintage (late 60s era) license plate frame from there from way back when someone in my Mothers family bought a new car there. I will try and post some pictures in a few days.

I may be interested in that if you would part with it. |

Did the NCRS for the late Tom Billigan's Non-Converted 68 Yenko Car and it came back
as <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Yenko Delivered</div></div>- as expected. Definitely worth checking as his car had a lot of controversy around the fact that he bought it at Kenny Ross Chev. His car and mine were one of the last ones brought into Yenko and before conversion to the 427 it was sent to Kenny Ross as a some type of dealer trade - or to just move the inventory. ![]()

....and I am impressed that you can post a document to this thread (or should I be directing that to Kimberly)!

The Kenny Ross deal was you got a jar of elderberry jelly from his Aunt Penny.
I bought my first new Camaro from Kenny Ross Chevrolet in 1989, and got the jelly.
