Tags look good to me but you need a much better picture to know for sure. Black/red coupe with AC is a very desirable car. What motor does it have?

Des, the best (frankly and only) way to take a good photo of the tag is to hold the camera upside down with the flash facing the carpet. This way no shadow is cast over the important factory markings on the tag. Try to repost the photo with that direction and Steve or I will tell you our thoughts again.
Thanks, Dan

My guess is that it is a legit trim tag. The only way to know for sure however is to have a super high resolution picture. The reason it's an air car is because of the plumbing that's under the tags that's not present on non AC cars. I would love to hear more about the car, if you like PM me.

According to my information a Dec. 1966 built car should have a serial number of 107110 or higher. This serial number is 105126, indicating a Nov. 66 build. Either the trim tag is wrong (fake) or the VIN tag is wrong (fake).

Your info is wrong. This car has been inspected by the 1965 NCRS Team Leader, Elio Martin who has restored many, many mid-year corvettes and both tags are original and correct. REMEMBER, there were two body plants A.O. Smith and St. Louis - your info applies to one, not the other.
