Vintage, because they have the steel shell. The new ones are one-piece aluminum castings.

I like them on traditional street rods and early muscle cars like Verne's..but IMO they don't look good and just don't fit on any muscle car after approx 1966..
They are a early to mid 1960's look.

They definitely have an &quot;older&quot; look to them, but just for the record, those M/Ts hit the market in '65. My M/T catalog shows them on a '65 Vette and I don't think they look good on it at all. A lot depends on the car.
